“As Cole’s very first vocal instructor, Noelle did so much more than teach him basic singing skills —she nurtured his love for performing. From his first vocal lesson to vocal competitions and a wide variety of performances, Noelle has enthusiastically supported Cole’s musical undertakings. Her encouragement extends far beyond his lessons; she has consistently cheered him on, worked to build his confidence and pushed him to reach his full potential, all the while focusing on protecting his vocal health. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, patience, and heart Noelle pours into her teaching and have confidently recommended her to friends and acquaintances.”

“It is my great pleasure to recommend Noelle Dachis as a superb musician and educator. Noelle is an excellent teacher, a wonderful soprano soloist, and an expert in training young musicians in multiple instruments, voice, and other disciplines including music theory. Her kindness, exuberance, attention to detail and musicianship are second to none.”

“We have been extremely impressed with Mrs. Dachis. Both of our daughters have grown musically since they began studying with her, and they are consistently excited about the new things they are learning.
Mrs. Dachis has the ability to teach and educate in a way that works with the student’s existing skill set and builds upon it in a way that is both challenging and encouraging. Her teaching is thoughtfully paced, allowing students to see real, tangible progress without feeling overwhelmed.
Perhaps most importantly, she provides students with accessible ways to interpret pieces and build their musical intuition, which allows them to understand music in a way that may go beyond their current level of technical ability. In short, she is an excellent music educator. Both of our girls are always excited to go to lessons and, more importantly, to practice what they have learned.
Mrs. Dachis has also been incredibly helpful to us as parents in navigating the broader world of musical opportunities, including competitions and performances beyond what is typically offered through school or local community programs. She has been proactive in helping us understand which opportunities are appropriate for our daughters and has provided thoughtful advice and guidance across a landscape that was a complete mystery to us.
We have the highest praise for Mrs. Dachis’ commitment and dedication to her students. We could not ask for a better teacher to help develop our children’s interest in music.”

“Noelle took me on as an adult student who had not sung regularly in many years. In the first lesson, it was immediately apparent that I was going to receive the best voice instruction I had ever had, as well as instruction without judgement of my inexperience.
Noelle brings a wealth of technical knowledge, patience, and kindness to her practice. She is focused on proper technique and makes it manageable, approachable. She provides serious education on the voice as an instrument, on method and how to access the natural power of your voice. I have been blown away by how far I have come in just nine months with her and with the regular practice she encourages. Noelle has helped me find range and depth in my voice that I did not know existed, and she has made it fun. I am having a blast learning from this pro!”

“I’ve been working with Noelle for a little under two years, and I truly can’t overstate how much she’s helped me grow, not just as a singer, but as an artist and person. As someone trying to build a career in singing and composition, finding a teacher who understands both the technical and artistic side has meant everything.
When I first started, I felt very disconnected from my voice. I was afraid of my high notes and honestly didn’t think I would ever feel comfortable singing them, let alone singing them with control and confidence. I was also nervous to perform my original music while still feeling connected to my audience. I felt stuck in my range, uncomfortable with my abilities, and unsure of what my voice was capable of.
Through working with Noelle, I’ve grown immensely in my range, technique, breath support, and confidence in my instrument. What makes her so special is that she never takes a one-size-fits-all approach, she meets you where you are and tailors each lesson to what you need. She creates an environment that feels encouraging while still pushing you to become the best singer, composer, and performer you can be.
One of the things I’m most grateful for is her support through my vocal health struggles. I’ve dealt with vocal hemorrhaging and nodules, and she has been present every step of the way, helping me through recovery, adjusting technique, and supporting me through doctor appointments and difficult moments. She’s always been front and center through it all.
What stands out most about Noelle is that she genuinely cares. You can tell she cares about her students not only as singers, but as people. Working with her has helped me reconnect with my voice and trust myself again, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything she’s done for me.”

“Noelle has been teaching two of my children piano for several years, and my daughter has been taking voice lessons with her since she was seven years old. Over the past five years, Noelle has been an incredible teacher, helping her develop proper vocal technique, understand her voice, and continually grow as a singer.
With Noelle’s guidance and encouragement, my daughter has won several international music competitions and had the incredible opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall. With each performance I am in awe of her growth as a singer.
We are incredibly grateful for Noelle’s dedication, patience, and support. She has had a meaningful impact on our children’s musical development, and we feel very fortunate to have her as their teacher.”

"I started taking music theory lessons and choir from Mrs. Dachis when I was eleven. When I was twelve, she encouraged me to start composing, launching me off into my biggest life interest. During my high school years, Mrs. Dachis worked closely with me to help me become a well-rounded musician, teaching me music theory, composition, and singing. I took vocal lessons and sang in the New Jersey Choral Society Festival Youth Chorus under her direction. For college, I am studying music composition with a vocal concentration at The Hartt School (University of Hartford.)
Mrs. Dachis is an enthusiastic and charismatic teacher who lifts young students up to an unexpectedly-high level of achievement. She is detail-oriented in teaching the technical aspects of singing and how they developed historically. She also recognizes the importance of theory and teaches it as the foundation of performance. Potentially, she is a life-changing teacher for your prospective student. "

"I have been taking voice lessons with Noelle for about two years now. I cannot truly express how thankful I am that our paths crossed. Over the past two years Noelle has helped my voice grow and develop immeasurably. I could spend this time talking about her vast knowledge, wonderful teaching style, and innate ability to know exactly what I need as a singer, which of course is extremely important however, something that has made an even bigger impact on me and my ability to develop my voice and myself as a musician is her ability to instill confidence in me. One of my biggest obstacles was that I had zero confidence in my abilities and that stopped me from being able to move forward. Noelle spent some of our time in lessons listening to me just talk about my fear and anxieties and she developed and adjusted her teaching style to suit me. Through devotion and genuine interest in me and what I needed as a person and not just a singer she was able to help me grow as a musician and as a person by leaps and bounds. I am so proud to say that our choir just had a concert in March in which I had a small solo. The fact that I actually auditioned and got the solo is so huge for me and it's mostly due to the absolutely wonderful instruction and kindness of Noelle!"
